Get Involved
Robin Preschool is keen to involve parents and carers. Research shows that children learn better when their parents are involved. As well as chatting with your child's key worker and using your child's home-link book, there are several ways in which parents and carers can be involved - the parent helper rota and joining the fundraising team. These are also good ways in which you can meet other staff and parents.
We encourage parents to stay and play as this gives you the opportunity to see your child interacting within the preschool setting and with their friends. If you would like to volunteer to stay for a session, there is a rota displayed on each notice board where you can add your name to a preferred date.
Robin Preschool is a charity run by directors who rotate every three years.
Now in existence for over 40 years, Robin Preschool continues to strive to expand its offerings to the community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience first-hand the pride we take in supporting our cause.
We regard all children as unique and special. We aim to provide a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment in which the children can learn and play. We are a registered charity and we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve those in our community each year.
We ask you to support the events we organise throughout the year; you can help organise a one off event, support by helping out on the day of the events, baking cakes for the cake sale or donating items we need such as snacks, wood or old toys and books.
The Voluntary Directors have set up a Fundraising Team which purely focuses on raising money for the Preschool. They keep meetings to a minimum and they have a small event team taking the lead on each event. If you would like to be a part of the Fundraising Team, please register your details by emailing: admissions@robin-preschool.co.uk
